Happy One Year!

Today marks our one year of being married. This past year has been an incredible journey. We are so excited for the many years to come, can't you tell?? Here is our official first family picture.

Gingerbread Houses

At Veronica’s work Christmas party, we were challenged to make the best gingerbread house. To try to be the most creative, we reconstructed a scale model of the Notre Dame. It was a pretty amazing final product and the most intricate gingerbread house we have ever made! We were runner-ups (we should have won!), but I think the judges were paid off. This picture shows us putting on the flying buttresses to the sides of the building. Don't you just love holiday activities?

Merry Christmas!

Let it Snow!

We woke up today to six inches of snow! Our first storm of the season and just in time for the end of the semester. We took a break from studying and played for a while. It was just what we needed on a quiet Saturday morning.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year, Brian and I went to see Tanya and Shawn for Thanksgiving in Southern Oregon. Tina and Kiarra also came. Angel drove down with us but then went to see Mom for a few days, which is why she’s not in this picture. The food was amazing as usual, and the company was even better. On Friday we helped Tanya and Shawn pick out and set up their Christmas tree to get into the holiday spirit.

I loved seeing everyone again, especially all my beautiful nieces and nephews, even if it was for just those few days. We had so much fun!

Disneyland Trip 2007

Just got back from our first trip together to Disneyland. It was so fun! We went to California Adventure on Friday and then Disneyland on Saturday. Brian got sick on EVERY RIDE! But I loved all the rides, especially Tower of Terror and Space Mountain. It was a great time of the year to go because the Haunted Mansion and It's a Small World ride were already decked out for Christmas.
