Movie Screening: "Life as We Know It"

Last night, Brian and I (and Chris and Jenny, Chris and Paige, and Blake and Erica) saw a free movie screening of Life as We Know It, a comedy about how these two single people (who hate each other) have to take care of their mutual best friends after they die. It was pretty cool! There were a lot of funny parts! And I really liked the parenting aspect, it’s really hard! The little girl is really cute too. And Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel are both awesome. It comes out in October 2010, so look for it!

Computer Journaling vs Written Journaling

Just taking a poll on what you all prefer. I have written my journal for years but now that I primarily just blog, I don’t write in my journal as much. One day I will be able to just print out my blog and hopefully count that. I just don’t know which one will be more obsolete in 100 years. What do you use??

Day at the Beach with Uncle Pat and Aunt Barbara

Today we got to hang out with Uncle Pat and Aunt Barbara, Brian's mom's brother and sister, and their families down at Doheny. They are so awesome!

Brian's First Dentistry Convention

Yesterday we went to the California Dental Association (CDA) Convention in Anaheim, CA. In a nutshell, all the companies in the dental industry around the state, from selling office furniture to tooth paste, come together and try to make contacts. Which means free samples for us!

Happy Birthday Veronica 2010

On Friday, I had my 24th birthday! To celebrate, we had a "black and white" (get it?) themed party. Here is the fabulous double-decker cake that Brian made me, it took three cake mixes!

Ode to V's Hair

Let's be honest. I have some crazy hair! I have been fighting my curls my whole life. For a few years, people didn't even know I had curly hair because I was constantly straightening it! But lately, I have only straightened my hair a couple times this whole year (this CA humidity doesn't encourage it either!). I'm trying to embrace my natural curls.
