Resolutions

Happy New Year! I'm sure this post will be just a little cliched but as it's New Year's Day, I thought I was due for a little reflection on this past year. I wanted to evaluate how well I did on last year's resolutions and make new ones for the year.

Last year's resolutions:

  • lose the baby weight, Thankfully I can check this one off! It has been a very difficult year because of this. Hopefully in next pregnancy I will gain weight the right way and have an easier time losing it!
  • keep better records of my life (journals, blog, albums, pictures, video, etc), I will check this one off, I think I have done a pretty good job of maintaining this blog, and consequently I've been taking more pictures to post! I have posted on average every week, even though no one ever reads this thing! :)
  • become more spiritual. Sadly, I don't think I have progressed much in this department. I have spurts of time when I am keeping up good habits of reading and praying but they leave as quickly as they come. I need to be consistent! At least we have made Family Home Evening pretty frequently, we do that almost every week.
This year's resolution: prepare my mind, body, and soul for the likely chance of an addition to the Miller home (and NO I'm not pregnant, but it's always good to be prepared).

What are your resolutions for 2010?

I read your blog :). I know what you mean though - I feel like nobody ever reads mine either.

I read everything you write! So there!

I COMPLETELY relate to your baby weight situation - I did not gain weight the right way with our first, but hopefully I do it better next time. Losing the baby weight is MY resolution for this year, so please let me know if you have any good tips that worked for you.
