Happy Easter! We had an action-packed weekend, let me tell you! On Friday, some girls from church organized an Easter egg hunt at Lacie Park. It was so fun! We lined up all the kids like it was a race and then we just let them go at it until all the eggs were found. Mariah got the hang of it after a while, I think she got about 10 eggs. Then Saturday was General Conference, of course (it occurs every first weekend of April and October). But sadly, Brian was at AYUDA (a free dental clinic the students work at) so Mariah and I watched it by ourselves.
Sunday we continued our General Conference watching. Here is a picture of Mariah in her dress, had we had church (FYI General conference = no church):
But no worries, she got to wear it last Sunday.
Then we had a yummy ham dinner, complete with Funeral Potatoes! We invited some dental school friends Chris and Paige and Danny and Lindsay over because the smallest ham I could find weighed a whopping 8 lbs!
Here is Brian enjoying his Easter spoils. Yes, that Reese's egg is so large he needs a fork!
Speaking of sweets, this is the weekend I should have ended my Lent fast from sweets and popcorn. But sadly I succumbed to temptation. Good thing I'm not Catholic!
