Mariah Starts Preschool

Last week Mariah went to her first day at the preschool co-op. Some girls from church decided to set up this mom-led preschool so we could all teach our little ones together. This year we are learning the alphabet. We have a letter of the week and do activities and crafts around it.

Here are all the kids. We asked them what sound the letter "A" made (what we learned that day). They passed their first test!

Snack time

Craft time: Ants, Alligators and Abraham Lincoln!

Kiddos doing their activities together.

I learned that I can't just stay and watch or else Mariah wants to just hang out with me! This week I just dropped her off. She came out very energetic and I could tell she really liked it. She talks about going to preschool all week.

I have the week with the letter "E". I would appreciate any ideas for "E"songs, "E" crafts, and "E" snacks!

Try teacherspayteachers.com. I only look at it for 2nd grade stuff obviously, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some pre-school stuff. Also, there is a ton of stuff that's free so you don't need to worry about all the stuff that costs money if you don't want to. I hope this helps. Have so much fun teaching! :)
