Lately, I have been so exhausted with Kylie, so many other things trump the blog as far as what I will use my limited energy for. I also haven't sent out Xmas cards. They are still on my desk. I'm a horrible person.
Kylie. What a sweetheart. What a knucklehead. She will be 5 months old in a week! But sadly she is still waking up 3 times a night. Plus she needs me to replace her hunky on top of that. It leaves me with very patchy sleep. It's like she's still a newborn! But she's getting pretty cute.
Here is a pic of us at Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time going with both girls by myself. For the most part it went fine. Mariah was happy to go again. Feeding Kylie in public was fine. I just did it discreetly. But then both girls fell asleep on the way back to the car so I had to carry 2 dead-weight children, plus a double stroller. I'm glad I didn't drop them!
Oh and as a part of my New Years resolution (to love myself as I am and not as I think I should be), I have worn my hair curly for all of 2012 so far! I am really trying to embrace my curls after suppressing them all my life. I think i wore a pony tail up till i discovered a flat iron in high school. And I have been pretty much straightening it ever since.
But I have to accept the fact that I don't have straight hair. I am interracial. I have very unique hair. Why am I trying to make myself ordinary??
I found this awesome website called Naturally Curly. It has so much info about how to do curly hair. I am still learning, but my curls already look way better than they did before. I just wish my hair would grow faster. I want long hair again!

I was noticing how cute your hair looked yesterday!! I should've said something :) And I'm amazed you took two kiddos out to disneyland by yourself- supermom!!
you know what's insane? i love your curly hair and hate my straight flat lifeless hair. everytime i see your curly hair, i am green with jealousy and i go home, turn on the curling iron, and then turn it off because i run out of time. i love curly hair but apparently, i can only get it together for big events like my wedding and dress up parties. i can't believe you don't know how good you have it!!! in fact, for my big 3-0, i may perm my hair so it's curly. we'll see if i can get andy on board cuz it costs a lot. or i'll invest in a great curling machine.

V, you are the cutest everrr! I feel for you with Kylie! I went through it with Ivy and I know how it feels, that patchy sleep is the worst. It's torture! And I'm pretty sure I would rather be waterboarded. Love, love, love the curls!
