Trip to the ER

I know people want a follow-up since my last post, so here's what's been going on with the possible miscarriage and such (possible TMI warning).

On Sunday night, I miscarried. I won't go into too much detail, but for those of you who don't know, there's a certain speed at which this process should happen. Mine progressed so rapidly that I had a few fainting episodes. So Brian had to take me to the ER in the middle of the night. I turned out to be ok, just low blood pressure. It was a crazy six hours in the ER!

It's frustrating to have to start over with being pregnant. Now I see all my other pregnant friends (practically HALF my ward is pregnant), and I'm sad to not in the "pregnant club" anymore. But I am so grateful for the miracle of life and even the miracle of miscarriage. Having that week to process what was going to happen before it actually happened has helped me come to terms with it even more. I had a reason for why it was happening. It was actually a really spiritual experience for me. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. And who knows, maybe we'll get twins next just to make up for lost time!

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family and an awesome husband to help me when I need it. Thanks to everyone for their love and support through all this. I love you guys!

I know a woman who was 15 weeks when she miscarried and another mutual friends said, "What can I say to her?" And I thought...well, nothing. There's almost nothing you can say that will make her feel better.
So, saying that, I know that nothing I say will probably make you feel better, but I wish you the best with your future endeavors, although I hope for your sake you don't get twins. :)

Veronica-- I'm so sorry that you have to go through this but I am glad you have had such great support. It took us quite a long time, including 1 miscarriage, before we could get our sweet Owen here. It was a hard time, but I learned a lot. Sounds like you have a great attitude but if you ever are having a hard time and need to talk, I'm here.

Ouch -that's difficult stuff, I know. And I did get twins after a miscarriage, so who knows? Hang in there, and try to keep yourself healthy. Love you! (and twins are awesome if not a little more mischievious)
