LA Temple Lights and Tito's Tacos

Last night for YW Activity, we took the young women and young men to see the lights at the LDS temple in Los Angeles. So pretty! And it's cool because they let people from the local wards decorate. Last year people from good ol' South Pas. got to decorate some lights.

I tried my hand at photography...did you know that night shots are EXTREMELY difficult?? My shaky hands ruined almost all of the pictures. Here are the non-fuzzy photos.

Some of the trees were very unique, like this mushroom-shaped one. It was really cool to stand under it! And all the walk ways were lit up. If only there was a little snow...

The beautiful nativity scene.

Christmas orbs! I was impressed by all the different types of lights they used on the grounds. I saw a lot of LEDs too.

The palm trees were my favorite to see lit up. Only in LA will you have Christmas palm trees!

This was a grove of olive trees decorated with icicles.

It was very pretty, a little Temple Square here in LA! Here's a picture of some of the girls who came.
 (thanks for the picture Jessica!)

And then we went for TACOS!

Tito's Tacos is a must-go in the LA area.

You can order at windows outside or inside. But it's cash only!

I would have to agree that the food was amazing (and cheap, my meal was only $4.50). Two words: shredded beef.

If only my braces didn't prevent me from eating the chips. They were too crunchy!

Thanks for taking me on the taco run! We will definitely be coming back to this place.
