Yep, I am still pregnant. Tomorrow I will be 38 weeks. I can't believe I am at the tail end of this pregnancy already, it seems like it has gone really fast. And in some ways it has gone really slow!
Brian took the NDBEs ("the boards") last Monday and has been out of school since then. We have had lots of time to get everything ready for baby Kylie to get here.
I had been saving all my "nesting" till he was done with the test so he could help me. Now we have everything washed and put away. I have started packing the hospital bag. And we bought a new double stroller. Mariah loves it. She likes to assign one side for Kylie and one for herself (though they keep switching every time). One day she fell asleep on the walk so we decided to just let her stay in there and sleep a little longer.
We have also been busy adjusting Mariah's room for Kylie. It is now "the girls' room". We have taken down the last remnants of its past as part office/part nursery. So yes, we had to take down Brian's car pictures and such (Brian is still really sad about that, we will have to find a good place for them). Brian has been busy building little things for the room: a coat rack, shelves and letters to spell out each girls' name. I will post a picture of the room when it's done (and clean!).
I think Mariah is figuring out that something's changing around here. She keeps saying that everything is a "little baby" and it's "so cute", even things like coins and food! I caught her mid-"so cute" in this picture. Isn't she "so cute"?? I'm glad she is practicing being gentle though :)
We also made up a game of watching Kylie move and trying to get her to "come out" of my belly. Mariah sometimes even knocks on my belly and pretends to open a door to let her out. We talk about what it will be like to have Kylie here. Mariah always says she wants to take Kylie to Disneyland. And then she just starts talking about Disneyland in general. At least she associates Kylie with a happy place!
Needless to say, we are all very excited for Kylie to come. Please send all your labor vibes my way! I hope this is my last post before baby comes.

First of all, you have got to be the cutest pregnant lady I have ever seen! You look awesome, especially for being 38 weeks! Secondly, I LOVE the name Kylie. Super cute. I can't wait to see pictures of her.:)
