I know, it's almost December and I haven't posted about Halloween yet. My excuse: it's nearly impossible to get some solid computer time! I'm sure most people know it takes a long time to find all the pics, enhance them and post about them, probably about an hour per post. Unless I blog just from my phone, then it's a lot shorter. Sorry folks, in particular to grandparents who have been asking for Halloween costume pics :)
Our first Halloween adventure was a birthday party for Fox, my friend Paige's son.
She is so creative!
Mariah is collecting candy from the piƱata!
There was a photo booth set up so all the families could take a pic.
With lots of cool accessories! It was such an awesome party. I'm excited to see Fox's second birthday. How can it get bigger than this??
Then a couple of weeks later, our church put on their annual Trunk or Treat. There were a lot of great costumes and decorated cars!
Brian handed out candy at our car (which was decorated as a huge mouth!)
Kylie was a little pumpkin :)
I took Mariah around Trick or Treating. I don't know if she remembered it from last year, but she caught on quickly! "Trick or treat" = CANDY!!
The Grim Reaper was the DJ.
And Fox was Super Man!
Such a fun night!!
Then we went REAL Trick or Treating on Halloween. Mariah's first time EVER!
We met up with a bunch of friends from church.
Kylie did a lot of this.
Mariah did a lot of this!
Sweet little Katie being an octopus.
And her older brother Jackson who is Mariah's BFF!
Some of the girls from Mariah's preschool group.
Pehrson and Kate and Beck.
Yay, finally a good family picture (took about 10 takes)!
I found Mariah's costume for really cheap at the LA sample sale (my first time there!)
So cute! (She's a lady bug)
Let the trick or treating begin!
Yes, I'm one of THOSE moms, who records everything. Here is footage from one of the first houses she went trick or treating to. Such fun!
We went trick or treating primarily on Milan Street, which apparently everyone else goes on too. As soon as it was all the way dark, it became a MAD HOUSE! We had to wait in line like Disneyland at every house. Note for next year: go earlier, even if you are the only ones out to avoid getting trampled by all the big kids.
Both girls had an epic time :)
