Tanya Comes to Visit

Brian was on a school trip to Mexico this past weekend, so I asked my sister Tanya to come help me with the kids while he was gone. We had an awesome girls weekend!

Kylie's First Month

Whelp, these pictures used to be in chronological order, but in uploading them, they are a little scrambled so I am just going to narrate instead of trying to reorder them!

It has been a fun and crazy first month getting used to both of my girls. Kylie is a great baby but is eating around the clock. Mariah is a great big sister but is going through late Terrible Twos. But all in all, there have been way more ups than downs. There is definitely never a dull moment in the Miller home!

Kylie's Baby Blessing

We blessed baby Kylie on Sunday, September 18th (on Mariah's birthday!). Brian's family was still in town for it. And we also had help from some friends in our ward. Usually people wait a little longer to bless the baby but we wanted family to help, so it was either now or during the holidays in Boston! Happy Birthday Mariah 2011

Mariah has been in our family for 3 awesome years! We love her so much and wanted to share what we did for her birthday weekend. Because her birthday was on a Sunday and because we were doing Kylie's baby blessing on that day, we decided to give Mariah TWO birthdays. We celebrated the whole weekend long!

I'm sorry this is last month's news! I promise to add more pictures soon. I am in the process of a big update post of this past month, but it's been so crazy with 2 kids. 38 Weeks!

Yep, I am still pregnant. Tomorrow I will be 38 weeks. I can't believe I am at the tail end of this pregnancy already, it seems like it has gone really fast. And in some ways it has gone really slow!

Bye Bye $3 Theatre!

On my way to the doctor this morning, I was really sad to see the Edwards Atlantic Palace theatre in Alhambra being torn down. Last year, it lowered it's price to $3/ticket and would show movies just out of the regular theatre. Brian and I would go to see most of our movies there. Now they are tearing it down to put in a new county building. So sad! It was a really old theatre.

Baseball games, hotdog eating contests, parades, BBQs, watching movies about aliens, and fireworks. I can't think of any activities more patriotic than these to celebrate our nation's birth.
